"Kaydence has epilepsy. She has a couple of different types of seizures including tonic clonic, partial, and absence seizures. Absence seizures are also known as starring spells because they look like a person is starring off, this is her most common seizure."  

"Kaydence is very outgoing when she gets to know you. She has a great sense of humor and is very optimistic about everything. She loves to laugh and loves dogs and birds. She bird-watches daily and believes her Nana is watching over her as the Cardinal living in our backyard. We also have a service dog named Mia who helps with Kaydence’s seizures."

"Donations to this [Chelsea Hutchinson] foundation help because they not only provide families with service dogs trained to detect seizures, they provide equipment in the home for seizure detection also."
