"Ezra is almost 5 years old and he is Autistic. I had a very complicated pregnancy and then he was born six weeks early. We were told to expect developmental delays due to being premature. We noticed he was always about 2 to 4 weeks behind on every milestone. Then between 15 and 18 months we noticed his appetite basically went away and he would only eat a few choice foods."

  "At his 2 year checkup his doctor referred us to occupational and speech therapy, which we still go to twice a week. After his initial evaluation with the therapists, they immediately sent us to Vanderbilt to test him for Autism. He was officially diagnosed in July of 2017."

"Ezra has opened up socially and started to make friends. He's no longer afraid of strangers, except somedays he still acts a little shy. He loves to run and be chased. He loves playing with his cars and watching educational YouTube videos. He loves writing and reciting the alphabet, numbers and colors. He's currently learning the colors in Spanish. His favorite movies are Finding Nemo, Finding Dory, Rio 1 and 2, Megamind, Frozen, Moana and the Despicable Me series. He LOVES music. Rap is his jam! Anything by Drake, The Weeknd or J. Cole makes him get up and dance. He loves grocery shopping with Momma and playing and napping with Daddy. He is a sweet boy who has brought us a lot of joy."
